Sevilla ✩ España

Our favorite spots in Sevilla

Sevilla is magical in late September — still warm and sunny, but without the brutal peak-summer heat. It's one of our favorite cities in the world, and we can't wait for you to experience it. We strongly recommend booking hotels and popular attractions early. It's a busy time of year!

✩   Explore

Real Alcázar de Sevilla

"The most beautiful palace you'll ever visit. A UNESCO World Heritage site with stunning gardens and Moorish architecture. Book tickets well in advance — it sells out fast."

Plaza de España

"Iconic doesn't even cover it. Go at sunset when the light is golden and the tourists have thinned out. Absolutely breathtaking."

Barrio de Santa Cruz

"Get lost in the cobblestone streets of the old Jewish Quarter. Every alley has a flower pot, a hidden courtyard, or a surprise tapas bar. No map needed."

Catedral de Sevilla & La Giralda

"Climb the tower for panoramic city views. The cathedral is the largest Gothic church in the world. Columbus is buried here — yes, really."

✩   Eat & Drink

Bar El Comercio

"A classic tapas bar and a local institution. Go for lunch, order the house wine, and let it happen naturally."

Eslava

"Some of the best tapas in the city — creative, seasonal, always excellent. Go early (1pm for lunch or 8pm for dinner) or expect a wait."

El Rinconcillo

"Oldest bar in Sevilla, established in 1670. Order the croquetas. They chalk your tab directly on the bar."

Bodegas Tradición

"An exceptional sherry bodega with a private art collection featuring Goya, Velázquez, and Zurbarán. Book a tour and tasting."

✩   Experience

Flamenco at Casa de la Memoria

"Intimate, acoustic, and deeply authentic. One of the best flamenco experiences in Sevilla. Book in advance — small venue, sells out."

Boat Tour on the Guadalquivir

"Gorgeous views of the Torre del Oro and the city skyline from the water. A great way to see Sevilla from a different angle."

Day Trip: Ronda or Cádiz

"Both are stunning and only 1–2 hours away. Ronda for dramatic cliffside views; Cádiz for ocean air, fried fish, and history. Highly recommended."
